So today we are going to talk about one of the famous stories “Haunting in Harris County: The Heidi Wyrick Story”. This story gained popularity through and lots they lots of documentary on this story. But people are still confused either to believe in this story or not.

Heidi Wyrick experienced lots of paranormal activities since when she was three years old. Heidi and her family moved to a new house in Georgia, USA. This area was very safe for them. There was lots of tree around the house and big Backyard with a swing. While they were still shifting in this house, their daughter Heidi started to play in the backyard. While she was playing she saw an old man in a black suit. This Oldman came to Heidi and asked her that he want to play with her. This was shocking to her but she was happy that she fined her playmate. This Oldman's real name was Mr. Gordy.

Heidi came back home and told her parent about her new friend. This thing was really strange to her parents but they ignored it because they thought that children at her age can create imaginary friends and considered the real because there were no children in this area to play with her.
Time had passed, Mr. Gordy visit this girl time to time, play with her, and talk to her. At this time Heidi had no idea that Mr. Gordy was not real. According to Heidi
I saw him up until I was eight years old, on an everyday day basis. We would sit and have conversations, then he would take me by the hand, and we would go and play on the swing
One day a strange incident happened. According to Heidi’s mother, Lisa said one day the weather was pretty bad and about to rain. A peeked through the window to asked Heidi to come inside because she was playing in the backyard. I saw that Heidi was on the swing. Then I asked her to come inside. But Heidi told her she is playing with Mr. Gordy. According to her parents, whenever Heidi was eating something, she always took plates. One for herself and 2nd for Mr. Gordy.
People think Mr. Gordy was a man who died in 1974 and was a famous landlord in this area. His House was much closed to Wyrick's house. He is buried in Park Hill Cemetery.
Heidi grew older, spirits started to come in different forms like humans, cats, dogs or sometimes in weird figures which they can’t explain. According to Heidi
I can sense when it’s an evil presence or its good presence. If I sense evil, you wouldn’t believe the feeling you can get. I have been literally been sick to my stomach.
And her parents said further
You don’t know how to deal with it because you don’t know how to protect here. If it was someone real, you would know what to do.
According to Heidi, Mr. Gordy was not the only visitor but she also saw the man with blood on his t-shirt which made Heidi and her parents more worried. They don’t know what to do. They were feeling highly insecure. Soon after Heidi’s aunt shifted in Wyricks’ neighborhood. But that didn’t help at all.
They even contacted a psychologist who investigates their whole house but he didn’t find anything. People start calling Heidi a psychic child. Time goes on, things had gone even creepy and dangerous. Heidi and her parents found scratch marks on back or faces. Things of their houses start moving by them. Door banging, loud noises, laughing sounds made them more anxious. They even got attack by someone, especially at night. Lamps of their room started to lit up even when there was no electricity.

Now Wyrick's family fully believed that they are not safe anymore. The media started to pick this story and got viral in America. Lots of paranormal investigators and reporters came to this house for filming but they returned without doing anything. Documentaries ware made on this family. Some people even threw hateful comments on Heidi
You’ll have people believe you 100% and then some people think you are crazy, there is no in-between.
After getting lots of media attention Heidi has still trying to live a normal life as much as possible eventually getting married and starting her career in the medical field.

Most of the time, I've learned to keep a lot of it to myself, and I really don't even notice it. You get used to seeing things after a while
Heidi even said that she wish these things wouldn’t happen
